You don’t need an account to explore TikTok, but by having it, you can follow the creators and provide analysis to social networks. Unfortunately, having an account also means handing over personal information. If you are no longer a TikTok fan, here’s how to delete your account.
To delete your TikTok account, start by opening the application on your iPhone or Android device and logging in. From there, select the “Me” tab and then tap the three vertical dots on the top right to access the Settings menu.
From the Settings menu, tap the “Manage My Account” button.
Scroll down the menu and select the “Delete Account” option.
If you previously set up SMS verification on your TikTok account, you must enter the code that you will receive via text message. After you enter the correct code, tap the “Delete Account” button.
Tap the “Delete” button below to confirm your last decision. You will see a notification that your login has expired due to your deletion account before you were taken to the TikTok Home page.
When you delete your account, you can no longer manage posted videos. Therefore, make sure to delete the videos before you delete your account if you want to delete it from social networks. You will also lose access to anything purchased on the application, such as coins.
Having a TikTok account can be a good thing to create content that you want and block content that you hate. Whatever reason you delete your account, the decision is permanent. Luckily, you can always create a new account at certain times.
