The Philo TV network offers the option to record TV shows. This option is good for those who can’t arrive on time to watch their favorite TV shows, but they want to watch later.

This option is accurately called DVR recording, and works the way you choose the TV show or movie you want to record. After you enable this option for the content you want to save, you will be able to find and watch it at any time in the next 30 day period.

The amount of recording content is unlimited, which means you can record as many TV shows or movies as you want. But, keep in mind that after 30 days it won’t be saved anymore. Many users choose the Philo TV network just because this option is included in the basic Philo service plan.

This option is placed at the top edge of the screen, next to the Home and Direct options.

After clicking the Guide option, now you need to find which TV show you want to record. Find the program, and select the episode you want to record, so you can watch later. The next step is to choose the episode and then press the channel icon, which you will notice in the episode that you want to record.

Then you will have a list of content that is opened, and plus signs are displayed on each episode. Press on the mark and wait until it is filled with white. That way you’ll know that Philo has just started recording the program that you will watch later.

Where to find recorded programs?

If you have followed the procedure that we just described, you must record your favorite TV shows. But if you are not sure where to find it, this is where you should look.

All recorded programs will be placed in the Saved library. Saved Library options are placed right next to the Guide, on the top edge of the home screen. If the show has not been recorded, it might still be in the recording procedure. In that case, the TV show will have a DVR sign next to it and will be ready to watch immediately.

The DVR recording choice is related to the rewind option and makes it easier for you to use it. Also, if rewind is your favorite option, remember that it only lasts 72 hours. On the other hand, if you record something, you will be able to watch it in the next 30 days.
