Sometimes, you will need to enter the site on another device or browser, but I forgot the password. If you previously allowed Firefox to store passwords, you can easily retrieve them on Windows 10, Mac, and Linux. This is how you do it.
First, open Mozilla Firefox and click the “hamburger” button (three horizontal lines) in the upper-right corner of the window. In the menu that appears, click “Login and Password.”
The “Login & Password” tab will appear. In the sidebar, you will see a list of sites with saved account information. Click on the account you want to see in more detail.
After clicking, you will see details about that account in the right side of the window. This info includes website addresses, usernames, and passwords that are hidden for security purposes. To reveal the password, click the “eye” icon next to it.
After that, the password will appear.
Make sure you memorize passwords, but resist the urge to write them down where others see them. If you have trouble tracking passwords across browsers and devices, it’s usually better to use a password manager to keep everything straight. Good luck!
